Simply plug in your instrument of choice, whether it’s a drum machine, guitar, keyboard or MP3 player. Plug the mic into your computer and record both vocals and instrument as a finished track. The mic has an on board headphone output for monitoring and a nifty LED that flashes green for go and red for clipping. It also comes bundled with a desktop stand, all the necessary cables and Cakewalk’s Sonar LE music recording software.

The G-Track has a nice, solid build quality although it is a little on the heavy side if your going to be carrying it around with you.

Sound quality is, as you would expect from Samson – pretty decent. I didn’t notice any glitches whilst using it.
